Dr. Manisha Kulkarni
During her MD tenure she has been trained in Anaesthesia for General Surgery, Surgical Gastroenterology, Urology, Surgical Oncology, Laparoscopic Surgery, Bariatric Surgeries, Pediatric Surgery,various Day care surgeries/procedures, Orthopedic Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Cardiothoracic Surgeries, Neuro Surgeries, Obstetric And Gynaecologic Surgeries, ENT Surgeries, Surgical Endocrinology , Ophthalmologic Surgeries, Dental Surgeries and various high risk surgeries. She is well versed in performing various procedures such as regional anaesthetic techniques like spinal, epidural, caudal and nerve blocks, intubation, airway management, IV lines, central lines, arterial lines, etc.. She has worked briefly in the ICU in KMCH Coimbatore, which is a 750 bedded, multispeciality NABH Accredited Tertiary Care Hospital and has 15 medical and 15 surgical ICU beds with separate step down ICU. During her tenure here she has been trained in basic ICU assessment, hemodynamic monitoring, complex polytrauma, toxin ingestion, ACS, ARDS, acute stroke & infections. She has also been exposed to topics like interpretation of ventilator graphics, ABG analysis and acid base imbalance. She is also trained in BLS, ACLS & trauma life support system and as well in fluid management, blood& blood product transfusions and pain management.
She is also a Life Member of Indian Society of Anesthesiologists andIndian Society of Critical Care Medicine.
